Stepanoff visit- Day 2

One of the best things about having visitors (besides someone to help with the boys) is being able to get out of the house.  It's not often that we get out anymore, because we are so busy with everyday life with two kids.  Today we got out even more.  We started the morning out by finally testing out the new bike Santa brought Zach.  Mommy especially had fun making a little town to drive on.  It even included a home that looked much like ours, a Japanese narrow road, stop signs, and even a street sign reading, "Lester Heights."  Zach loves his new bike and helmet, but has much to practice.  We look forward to using it a lot!
Boy on a mission!

Ready for the day!
We then headed out of the house to the 100 yen plaza.  This is one of my favorite places to go.  There's some great things in the plaza along with some cool games and a great grocery store that's perfect for lunch. At the 100 yen store today we picked up a bunch of foam flooring for the floor of Zach's playroom.  It's furry and let's just say he loved it!  He was swimming on it.
Playing with Daddy on his new floor
We then had naps and then headed out again to the lighthouse.  Unfortuantely after the most recent typhoon they closed down, but we were able to see a lot of the sights still.  What I was most amazed by was the fact that the rock formations caved in so much from the last typhoon.  It sure was a strong one.

Huge Shi shi dog at the entrance.
We then headed to our favorite noodle place for some dinner.  Zach was cracking us all up during the meal.  He was drinking water from a mug and looked like a drunken man while eating.  We had a yummy meal and Zach chomped down on noodles!

love this!

so funny
