Gingerbread houses and Soldier Santa!

Thanks to our Elf on the Shelf, Blitz, we've kept busy this holiday season.  He's constantly bringing us unique things to get done to celebrate the holiday.  Thanks a lot Blitz!  This week he asked us to make a gingerbread house and to go out and see the lights.  So we headed out of the house with the stroller for a walk down the hill!  The lights at the bottom of our hill looked beautiful this year.  It seems that most everyone went all out with their decor- which flowed really well.  Zach loved seeing them and kept saying, "Petty" which is Zach talk for Pretty!
Loved this house

Only on a military base does Santa wear Camis!

yep- we live on a tropical island!

Next up was our gingerbread house.  As you know, I have zero artistic abilities, and I am also a terrible baker- so it was the boxed kit for us!  I was pretty busy with the baby, so I didn't get to help as much as I'd like to have but I did still do the roof.  Dima did the construction- and Zach?  Well Zach ate all the candy!  Typical toddler!  It came out looking like a child made it, but that's ok.  It was still fun to make!
