Before I was born

I expect things to change a lot for Zach when his new brother is born.  I have been very worried about how he is going to react and I hope he doesn't feel less loved.  As a result, I decided to write a book for the new baby to give to Zach when he visits the hospital.  I needed to write a book this summer anyway and couldn't decide on what kind of a book to write.  I contemplated a cookbook with some friends, but instead decided to write this children's book for Zach.  I am very happy with how it came out, and I cannot wait to see it when it comes in the mail!  I will cherish this book for years, and hope it will help Zach understand that Mommy and Daddy love him very much.  

I realize it is very difficult to read the text on this.  Unfortunately there is no way to fix that!  So here is a translation of my book.

Before I was born my Mommy met my Daddy.

Before I was born, my Mommy and Daddy got married.

Before I was born, my Mommy and Daddy lived in Japan.

Before I was born, my Mommy and Daddy got a dog named Neko.

Before I was born, my Mommy and Daddy wanted a baby.

Before I was born, my mommy carried me in her belly.

Before I was born, my Mommy and Daddy loved me very much.

On the day I was born, it was my birthday!

When I was born, it was 8:50 AM.

When I was born, I weighed 6 lbs, 13 oz, and was 21 inches long.

When I was born, my Mommy and Daddy loved me very much.

Since I was born, I get love every day!

And now I'm going to be a big brother!

I'm going to love my baby brother, just like I'm loved every day!"
