Elijah 365- Part 25

With all the craziness that has been our lives, we are a bit late posting on here these days.  Eli is continuing to keep me busy both with feedings and nap schedules.  He is very close to sitting up though, which is a huge milestone that I cannot wait to cross. 
This week he did cross a new milestone- eating solids!  At the end of this week, he was given an Avocado.  He was neither interested or disinterested.  Like all babies at their first feeding, most ended up on his shirt.  It takes practice and patience.  I am anxious for him to begin new foods in the weeks and years to come.  

Day 177- March 4.  Zach was lounging with baby brother!

Day 178- March 5.  He loves this teething toy.  No teeth yet though!

Day 179- March 6.  He's almost 6 months now!

Day 180- March 7.  On a run at the beach with Mommy!

Day 181- March 8.  Love that naked boy!

Day 182- March 9.  At the beach again with the family!

Day 183- March 10.  Trying his first taste of solids- an Avocado!  Yum!

Elijah 365- part 24

As I've said before, we've kept busy lately.  We got very lucky this week and had great weather.  The boys and I took full advantage of that by getting out of the house a lot.  We went on long walks and a few runs to the beach and park.  Both boys had a great time, and Eli loves hanging out in the running stroller!  It's almost swimsuit season, so the boys and I are busy getting ready for it!  I hope they can get one more beach day in before we move! 
Not much new with Eli this week, however I do think he's very close to sitting up soon.  He is still grabbing a lot, and is very interested in his big brother.  He loves watching everything his big brother does.  His favorites are watching him walk down stairs, and watching him play peek a boo!  It's the little things!  I cannot wait to watch them grow up together! 

Day 170- Feb 25.  hanging out with mommy and brother in the morning!

Day 171- Feb 26.  Drool much?

Day 172- Feb 27.  Big hugs from big brother!

Day 173- Feb 28.  At the beach with brother!

Day 174- March 1.  Ran to the beach to play with Mommy and brother.  He fell asleep on the way back!

Day 175- March 2.  Tubby time!

Day 176- March 3.  Walked to the park with Mommy, Daddy, Brother, and the dog!

Elijah 365- Part 23

As you can see by my delayed posts lately, we've been quite busy.  I hardly get more then 10 minutes a day to sit down, let alone post photos of Eli.  Don't worry, I've continued to take the photos for you all.  But my posts are probably going to be a bit more delayed as the months go by.  Sorry... but heck that's life with two little ones. 

Eli is continuing to steal my heart.  He is constantly smiling and laughing.  He's very interested in grabbing lately.  In fact, he grabs me so much that I constantly have bruises from skin he's pulled.  It's quite painful.  Just the other day a friend pointed out a big mark on my cheek.  Thank you Eli for pulling mommy's cheek!  He just gets so excited to see me that he just wants to bring me closer.  And yes, he remains a Mommy's boy!  Of course, Daddy is never home to begin with, so it's me or the dog and I'm better trained.  (I think) 

He's also drooling quite a bit.  I wonder when his first tooth is going to come in.  Brother's first tooth came in at 8 months.  I wonder if his will come around the same time.  As they say, every baby is different so who knows!

Day 163- Feb 18.  Hanging out with one of his girlfriends, Pearl.

Day 164- Feb 19.  He is obsessed with his exersaucer!

Day 165- Feb 20- Innocent face.  Mommy will you hold me?

Day 166- Feb 21.  Tubby time fun!

Day 167- Feb 22.  Smiley boy!

Day 168- Feb 23.  Running with Mommy

Day 169- Feb 24.  Went on a run with Mommy and Daddy to the beach!
